Artist's Description

Of the 36 paintings in my highly energetic "Pineal Art of the Rhythmic Universe" series, Level 4 is the strongest and most intense. It’s a powerful and dynamic “engine” that runs eternally and with ease, like a magnetic gyroscope or a self-generating vortex. The perpetual motion of this artwork carries a message of acceleration that—although intense—is balanced. It’s not the kind of energy that overwhelms. It's power that comes from inner peace.

Think about the concept of an engine. On its own, an engine can’t go anywhere or do anything. It must be connected to a crank, a gear, or something other, in order to transfer its energy into motion. What will you connect your engine to? What will be powered by it? You are capable of so much more than you think. If you're attracted to this painting, it's message for you is to release that limited thinking and embrace your power.

Deborah DeLisi

Welcome to my art studio, and thank you for visiting. I'm a lifelong artist and an ordinary human who has weathered life's extremes. I've walked through love and divorce, stability and joblessness, home and homelessness, health and cancer, and, most devastatingly, the loss of my daughter. That heartbreak shattered me, leaving me feeling utterly lost and broken. My art, once a refuge, fell silent. In a self-imposed exile, I began scribbling my darkest thoughts on brown paper. Slowly, my creativity stirred, and within a year, I found solace in drawing mythic faces on smooth gray beach stones. These "stone people" became my quiet companions, asking nothing of me in return.
